Jonathan Groff Cabaret

Posted by: BCTaylor 12:25 am EST 12/08/13

Loved seeing Jonathan Groff in concert tonight. I was surprised at how funny he is! He did a very clever mash-up of songs by Stephen Sondheim and Britney Spears. He also did a duet with the reindeer from his movie Frozen. Hard to explain, but very funny. He also did a Weird Al Yankovic song - Living in an Amish Paradise to pay homage to his Lancaster PA roots. In addition to the funny songs, he sang Left Behind from Spring Awakening, Lost in His Arms, Finishing the Hat, a song from Last Five Years, Imagine My Surprise from Personals and Homeward Bound by Simon and Garfunkel. Definitely recommend seeing him if he does this concert again.
