My daughter and I thought it was wonderful, one of the best things we'd seen all year. As a children's librarian, I was very familiar with the original book (+ sequels), and I marveled at how well they captured the complexity of the plot. One aspect that got radically condensed was the Starcatchers organization itself. Also how the mermaids came to be, but I thought their song was simply hilarious. Molly's got to be a know-it-all; the Lost Boys will always need someone around who has more grown-up skills than they do. Molly parallels her daughter Wendy in that respect. Laura
