I saw this production at the Smith Center in Las Vegas, and I have to admit I was very disappointed at how much they "downsized" from the original. I saw it in LA with Mann and Egan and in London with the original company there. What always impressed me about "Beauty" was that it was a bona fide Broadway musical and you could see what they spent right there on stage. They couldn't duplicate it at Disneyland or elsewhere. Now, what's being presented seems like it could easily be a show presented in the afternoon at Disneyland. Actually, I would've put the quality of the production below that of something at Disneyland. Sorry to dissent, but there you go:)
