Looking for LA (Hollywood) theatre recommendations

Hi all! My parents will be in LA the first week of March, staying in Hollywood (near Hollywood Blvd and the walk of fame). They would be interested in seeing a show while they are there, but aren't very familiar with the city or what is available (and neither am I, their usual theatre expert!). They are more interested in traditional theatre than experimental, but would be willing to try something new if it appealed to them. Plays or musicals would both appeal. Thanks in advance for any help you can give us!
