Posted by: Richard Connema 09:54 pm EST 01/08/14

Just received a press release about Ray of Light Theatre presenting two unusual musicals for 2014. Ray of Light presented a great production of Carrie the Musical several months ago.

On June 2014 they are presenting Triassic Parq written by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steven Wargo. This won Best Musical at both Los Angeles Ovation Award 2013 and the New York Fringe Festival 2010. It will play at the Eureka Theatre

On October 2014 the company will present the west coast premier of Yeast Nation (the triumph of life) at the Victoria Theatre. Music and Lyrics by Mark Hollimann, Book and lyrics by Greg Kotis. These were the brains behind Urinetown
