Tristan & Yseult at Berk Rep--can the ending save a show?

Posted by: dramedy 01:01 pm EST 01/09/14

I saw T&Y yesterday. I wasn't crazy about the Wild Bride, but this show got such good notices (and i liked the Pianist a lot), i got a ticket for T&Y. The first act was ok--slightly avant- garde, but kept my attention. The second act rather dragged and there was one, then another false ending. And then the last 10 minutes happened where everything fell into place and was not what i expected at all--it was rather moving ending. So if you go, stay after intermission.

And Tristan is HOT. I stared at him a lot in the second act during the dull scenes.
