Can you raise the level of performance of zombies?

I kid... but seriously... they've been walking through the show for 10 years now. It's like a joke seeing dancers dressed like that who are, let's say, not quite young anymore. Why don't they re-cast finally? Do a sweep? I don't want people to loose their jobs, but they hardly seem like they're working to keep them. Are the producers/creatives worried they won't find people who can do Fosse well enough now without a fully-able Anne Reinking to teach them? That might be a very valid concern.
