They may announce an extension, but if so, it will have already been in place and is announced later "by popular demand." There's rarely such a thing as a real "extension" with any tour because often they're already booked week-to-week ahead of time.

Tour schedules have to be mapped out WAY ahead of time. It's a carefully (and mind numbingly) thought out process.

There's a few possibilities:

1. The show IS booked in LA that week and won't announce that part of the booking until closer to opening, as a PR move.

2. The show is booked that week into another city who hasn't announced their season. Many presenters don't like the producers to list their city on a website/schedule until they themselves announce their season.

3. The show is on "layoff" that week. Not uncommon.
