Very grateful to finally see a good production of a play I've been hearing about for ages. I liked everyone in it, and agree that Cumpsty is marvelous as usual and Spector is charismatic. (Couldn't help wondering if all that body-ink mightn't limit him as far as casting?) I thought Hall could have found much more vocal variety in some of her 'monologues' without losing the quasi-mechanized aspect of the character. There's a built-in danger with this play that it may seem tediously one-note and I felt everyone successfully circumvented this except for Hall, who is good but I wanted more. Still, it's a worthy production and should be seen as the piece rarely (and understandably) comes around.
