Audiience medical incident at Wicked tour in Pittsburgh last night / strobe light question

Posted by: Ann 08:35 am EST 01/17/14

In the first act, the "doctor in the house" plea was called and a woman was carried out of the theater from her first row seat. The show stopped for 10 minutes or so during the incident (though a local columnist thinks they were slow to stop the show). I don't know of her fate, but she appeared to have some kind of seizure and was taken away in an ambulance.

I know the show uses strobe lights and I was wondering if those lights are used in the scene with the caged lion cub, as it was shortly after that that the incident occurred; she was standing getting ready to sing I'm Not That Girl when the show stopped.
