Slots filled for May!

This morning I filled in our last slot for our visit in May. We’re traveling with another couple who are not typical musical fans, saying they’re not interested unless there’s blood or puppet sex (originally Sweeney & Ave Q, but the list has expanded).

Wed 4/30 - Bullets Over Broadway
Thurs 5/1 - The Cripple of Inishmaan*
Fri 5/2 - All the Way
Sat 5/3 - Mothers and Sons
Hedwig*
Sun 5/4 - Kinky Boots*

* Shows we’re seeing with friends have an asterisk. Additionally, they’re seeing Sleep No More while we’re at All the Way. I’m also thinking about 54 Below or Buyer and Cellar on Sunday night.

I HIGHLY recommend Buyer and Cellar. My May list is:

May 22 - Realistic Jones (hopefully)
May 23 - Hedwig
May 24 - Rocky (mat.); Raisin (eve.)
May 25 - Cabaret (3pm) and hopefully an evening show

Have seen Kinky - it was also great, but in a very different way than B & C. Enjoy!

Enjoy your shows as well. If my choices weren't tailored to my companions, I'd likely have chosen the Realistic Joneses and (possibly If/Then) over some of our selections (All the Way or perhaps Cripple or Bullets).

We enjoyed Alan Cumming in Cabaret a lot when we saw it at the old Kit Kat Club. As far as B&C, one consideration will be Michael Urie's replacement.

At this time of January it seems the season holds such promise. And then the reviews and reports begin...
