Saw the play in Los Angeles. It is quite the script. And, yes, I can see where she might not want to pin down (for any audience member) what it's actually about. It's a play within a play setup (hence the title), and while the play they are, in fact, presenting is quite interesting, I found the best part of "We are Proud to Present..." to be its exploration of the interaction between the play being presented and the people who were presenting it. Great piece. Highly recommended.
