Need Recommendations re: Hotel in Theatre Area

Friends are coming over towards end of April, beginning May to see The Cripple of Inishmaan.

Could anyone recommend hotels in the theatre district.

The lowest priced hotels that I found were The Hotel Carter (2 stars), Hotel St. James (3.5 stars), and the Milford Plaza (3.5 stars).
