….like Imelda Staunton, who was wonderfully funny in both ENTERTAINING MR. SLOANE and SWEENEY TODD. I think she'd be a great Dotty. How about Roger Rees as Lloyd? Michael Cumpsty as Freddie? Jim Norton as Selsdon? Are either of the Gummer girls funny? I could see either of them looking good as Brook. And wouldn't Deborah Rush now be kind of perfect for Belinda? And maybe Andrew Rannells as Gary LeJeune? Never heard him do an English accent, but he is very funny and very cute. And young enough to make the joke of his name work. (And he and Imelda would be a funny romantic couple with the height difference.)
