There's a Hilton Garden Inn on W 54th opening later this month and Travelzoo was offering rooms with one king for $159 or two doubles for $189 through May 31. It's a great rate for that time of year so some dates are no longer available but check the Hilton website for the HGI New York/Central Park South-Midtown West location. You have to enter 2669220 in the Corporate account box to get the special rate. I'm not sure how much longer this special will be available so if they like this hotel and it's available when they need it, they should book as soon as possible. It can be cancelled up to the day before so there's nothing to lose.
