There was a wonderful full-scale production by Michigan Opera Theatre a few years back. I wonder, does ALNM get much opera house play? I know there have been numerous Candides and Sweeneys performed by opera companies. Does anyone know if ALNM gets many opera house productions? I think opera houses might be the venue to see regular, lush productions of great Broadway musical scores.
