I've stayed there several times, though it's been a while, and I agree with you. At least when I've looked, the Mayfair doesn't always show up on the large hotel search sites, and their online form used to not be automated, but they are worth a call. I've been hoping to hear the rooms have been remodeled (from the Delft wallpaper) but, when I stayed there, there were no problems and their front desk staff were some of the friendliest I've encountered in the city.
