that I just can not understand why people do not love the score.

Of course, I know that people have different tastes, but I often read, as above, that this "is not a good score". So be it.

I remember wearing out my LP when I first bought this, and always wondered why we never saw another Broadway show from Rupert Holmes (and I do know that he had family health concerns for years).

That said, to me, one of the most pleasant scores in the past few decades.
