Why hasn't Miley Cyrus not come up yet? She won't grow up, is used to the grind of TV, likes bad boys, and if you squint at the photo of Mary M, the look's not that far off. Would also extend her spotlight time, which may dim a year from now.

She's mentioned in the article linked in the original post in this thread: "Who should play Peter, do you think? 'I want Miley Cyrus,' Greenblatt joked (we think). The executive later hinted they’re more likely to cast a male lead even though the role has often been played by female actresses."
