I only sat up there once -- in May, 2001 -- the show was Follies, a Sat. night performance (the orchestra and mezzanine were totally sold-out). It was a very bad experience, impossible to appreciate the choreography properly. I haven't sat up there since but back in 2012 when I was seeing End of the Rainbow (in the orchestra) I walked up there to look around -- nice washrooms anyway and improved decor. I don't mind the 2nd balcony at the Shubert, Cort, and Longacre, but the 2nd balconies at most of the other Broadway theaters seem a lot more distant from the stage.
