| I have tickets for tonight's performance. How do I find out if the show will go on? If this were the 1960's, there would be no question, as the show always went on. Today, if an actor has a hang nail, they call in sick! | |

| I'm at King Lear tonight. Well, at least the joint is on the way home. If I can see the subway stop at 10:30 PM, that is. All Lear had to deal with was a minor shower. ;) | |

| Very unlikely that a show is cancelled. Especially since it's snowing during the day and will be cleared out more often. However, if you think you will be unable to get to the theatre, you should call whoever you bought your tickets from today and let them know. They might be willing to past date your tickets. (Though that depends on the producer and show. Godot might be iffy if the rest of the run is sold out) | |

| They are well worth trudging through the snow for--a joy to watch these two actors clearly enjoying themselves AND serving the text. Didn't think I needed to see another Godot. Glad I did. They're both treasures but McKellan is beyond words. | |

| They are advising to stay off the subways and roads since more snow than was originally forecast is planned and with the wind they say there may be shutdowns due to 2 foot snow drifts. | |

| Right now, they're saying that all express trains will be canceled after the evening commute. This just doesn't feel very safe, not just for patrons, but also for the staffs of these theatres, who have to make their way home even later than the audience does. | |

| I'm still waiting to hear more as the afternoon goes on. By show time, things may be pretty grim out there, IMO. | |

| I'd be very shocked to learn that Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, et. al. had ever called out because of a hangnail. | |

| I caught this the other night with a friend and we loved it. It's truly amazing work by all actors. I highly doubt this professional group is going to call out. (Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan looked like they were having fun up there, to be honest.) | |

| Oh hey, hyperbole! No shows cancelled during the snowstorm a few weeks ago; correct me if I'm wrong, but there hasn't been a mass cancellation of theatrical events since Sandy... The show will most likely go on. If it's cancelled, you'll definitely hear about it. | |

| So, I went to the Cort Theatre, no problem, and the place was packed! Billy Crudup was out, but his understudy was excellent. What a great evening of theatre, and the chance to see two SIRS on the stage. I have no idea what this play was about, but it was so well acted, and so theatrical, I really loved it! | |
