…..NOISES OFF!

Glenn is all wrong for Mrs. Clackett/Dotty. You need a clown in that role. (Part of the reason why I wasn't nuts about either Patricia Hodge or Celia Imrie in the recent London revivals.)

I do think she'd be a lovely Mrs. Kendall, as she has that actressy, piss-elegant quality with a very warm heart beating underneath. She doesn't get to radiate as much as she should. I will never forget the warm smile she gave me at the stage door of the (née) Plymouth after THE REAL THING back in 1984.

And I bet she and Bradley would give off some heat, too.
