Oregon Shakespeare Announces their 2004 season

Just received the OSF 2014 season and it looks great.

They open in Feb-March with Shakespeare's The Tempest,Lorraine Hansberry The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window,the Marx's Brother musical The Coconuts and Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors

Later OSF will presents Quiara Alegria Hudes's Water by the Spoonful" and the world premiere of a musical called "Family Album"

This summer on the outside stage will be Shakespeare's Richard III starring Dan Donahue, Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods and Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen from Verona

Also this summer in the inside theatres OSF will present the world premiere of of an adaptation of Madelein L' Engles A Wrinkle in Time by Tracy Young and a world premiere of the LBJ story The Great Society

We plan to go up to Ashland in April to review six productions. More this on THEATRE NEWS ON SUNDAY

The 2014 OSF season was announced in February 2013.

The Tempest, Comedy of Errors, The CocoAnuts and The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window all open in Feb.

Water By The Spoonful opens on March 30th in the Thomas Theatre.

A Wrinkle in Time opens on April 20th in the Bowmer.
April has never been a summer month in Oregon.

The Great Society opens Jul 27th, also in the Bowmer.

Family Album opens July 5th in the Thomas Theatre.

Oy Vey. I should have had my glasses on when I posted it or maybe I was on this computer just too long today. It's the 2014 season of course.
