I saw Silent Sky on Saturday, and it is a marvelous play. I wasn't quite sure what to expect - would it be an "issue" play, beating me over the head about the treatment of women in the early 20th century? Thankfully, no. Obviously, that's a core issue to the play, but it's a very human, very moving story, with very real, relateable, complex characters. I was moved to tears in the final moments of the play. Strongly recommended.
