I also questioned them saying it was the West Coast premiere. I contacted a friend who is involved in the production and she explained to me that the script they are using is the one from the most recent Broadway production which apparently is a revised script.

What was changed in that version? I just looked up four reviews of the Broadway show, two interviews with the director, and a piece of the London production...none mention any variation from the original.

I also note that Repertory East Theatre in
Newhall staged it in 2012. Wonder what version they used.
