I would skip UTOPIA. While Shotgun is an admirable company, their efforts are largely amateurish, unfortunately. If you're looking for a new, challenging, and well-done play, you must check out EVERY FIVE MINUTES at Magic Theater at Fort Mason Center. The theater is easily accessible by public transportation. Also, I'd look into: BAUER (San Francisco Playhouse) TRIBES ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST (Both at Berkeley Rep) VENUS IN FUR (A.C.T.) WITTENBERG (Aurora Theater-next door to BRep) Those are your best choices.
