I am so honored to be recieveing the Lucy Jordon Award from Western Region Actor's Equity

Last week I received a phone call from Western Regional Actors Equity out of Los Angeles. They informed me that I would receive the Lucy Jordon Award this year which basically, it is an award that is given to someone each year who has contributed over and above the call of duty in their theatrical community and who is not an actor.

At first I thought it was a ruse but after calling several Equity members here in San Francisco it was true. I really am honored to receive this award since I am reaching 88 years old in October and seriously thinking of retiring in Las Vegas this year.

I am to receive the award on April 25 at their party here in San Francisco.

Richard,

I don't write many posts but I've read hundreds of yours and thoroughly enjoy them. You've contributed to my enjoyment of theatre. Indeed, a well-deserved honor - and during Academy Awards weekend!
