Acting was fine, but the play wasn't a gay play. Just because you have one flamboyant stereotypical gay as a rather minor character does not make it a gay play. And all that bible thumping crap is just annoying. The guys behind me left at intermission and they missed nothing in the second act. This play really revolved around the two parents and their relationship--at least they only made out on stage in the beginning, I was afraid I'd be witnessing another hetero sex capade that doesn't belong at nctc.

I was actually suspecting that the brother had slept with the bible thumper so the gay could be a half,brother donor. At least the author didn't go down that cliche path.
