I saw it Friday night and found it thrilling. Loved hearing the full orchestra. So different than the Doyle pared down version with the actors playing the instruments.

Bryn Terfel is one of the few opera singers who can pull off the acting performance required for Sweeney. Also, got to see Audra. Terrific as always.

Every time I see a Sweeney Todd I appreciate what a masterpiece it is of music enhancing drama.
