all rules are "stupid" when you are on the wrong end of them. If I have 2 tickets worth $300, and I sell you one for $150, and I then have to reduce the price of the other ticket to $100 to sell it, then I'd think your rule was "stupid." I feel confident that there is data to support this rule. I know that when I go to stubhub looking for tickets to Yankee games, it is not at all uncommon to find them sold only in pairs. Do you really think a behavior based rule is stupid because it cuts against you? What is the basis of your sense of entitlement? And how stupid would you think it was if you looked at a seat map and saw it dotted with singles?
