Well, as folks around here know, I'm a huge Deanna Durbin fan, so anything she's in is worth seeing, but it's really not one of her best films. Dick Haymes also was a big recording star and has a lovely voice. Vincent Price plays the head of Tammany Hall in a tale of corruption. The songs which are included are very nice, but a lot of the original score was jettisoned, including the show's hit song. The show was a well-known title in its day, but frankly I've never heard the original cast recording.
