My grand kids started the evening exhausted. During the day my grandson played 2 hrs of tennis and granddaughter ran track. They were looking glum and I figured that I threw away $72.50/ticket(balcony) so that they could sleep. That didn't happen. They were wide awake and happy. The genie woke them up, answering my wish. If you're specifically looking for a great love story(Bridges of Madison County or Once) this isn't for you. If you can enjoy an entertainment full of extremely talented people and highly creative, even beautiful, production numbers, with lots of dancing/singing and jokes, I think you'll have fun. There are witty side comments for the adults that zip right over the heads of the kids. Also, lots of fun for the kids- a 5 year old behind me thought it was hilarious when someone came out through an unseen door on stage. I think that people go to a Disney musical for a big show. They don't want 90 minutes no intermission. They're spending lots of money and want to see something substantial.
