This is what I did.

There were three seats in a row. I wanted to buy two. Couldn't buy them through the website. Had no trouble getting a ticket representative to sell me the exact two tickets I wanted. And I don't really care if anyone on here thinks I'm in the wrong by skirting this preposterous rule--the production still got over $200 of my money, which is more than nothing.
