Did the original Pippin not tour?

That's what the speaker said at a local event to announce next year's touring productions.

The new Pippin tour is launching here in Pittsburgh - and only staying for 5 days, like all the other shows, except for Phantom and the series extra (return of) Book of Mormon. Seems like these tours used to stay longer.
