I've linked the OC Register that served as a source for my comments. I may have read too much into it, though. There is a mention of a Broadway version in the article, but it does not link that version to the DCA one.

The two productions would have to share at least *some* similarities, I'd think, but perhaps not enough that one could say "based on" anywhere. That query was my original one -had anyone seen both versions and could spell out the similarities and differences?

Also, please forgive what is sometimes my poor thumbs typing on an iPad and sometimes the blasted machine's ideas as to what I ought to be saying, as opposed to what I thought I was typing...
