They DESPERATELY need to do #3 and #4!!!!

I disagree re: #1. Aladdin just kinda up and deciding his mother's been dead for 3 months so now they should all stop being criminals makes no sense at all, but, it's ALADDIN, and I really didn't care. I was more confused by how ALADDIN was a real criminal (rather than just stealing the "bear" (pun!) necessities in the first place).

#2 sounds dread-ful! like all the bad from the CA production! glad they dropped it.

#3 - yeah. haven't they seen Joseph...Dreamcoat? his journey to Egypt has landmarks in it for pity's sake. can't they manage SOMETHING?!?! sigh

#4 OMG OMG -O-M-G- I could not figure out WHAT the heck Jafar was up to since the clause about marrying the Grand wizard dude is not in the book of the show! And even more confused why he needed Prince Ali outta the way since he had no plan to marry Jasmine himself! At least the show is such a fun roller coaster of a ride that you barely notice that the whole Jafar bad guy motivation makes no sense.

#5 Friend Like Me seemed good; Arabian Nights was a bit long, but o.k. The High Adventure sword fight changed locales and had barrels being thrown and jumped - don't know if this was the 'boring' bit of Seattle or an 'exciting' Bway improvement. Prince Ali was torture, but that was more walking than dancing. Other than that, I think your point was taken. :)

#6 I loved Adam Jacobs. Thought he was like the cartoon in 4 D. (sorry)

#7 That Jasmine bedroom scene and song were hideous. Other than that, although the dialogue was not high-end, I didn't find it too simplistic - it was all fun and the momentum of the show kept going, and dang, it was sooooo funny! So either we really differ on comedy enjoyment, or they fixed it????

#8 I would not have liked the freezes for this show as it was the constant momentum / roller coaster feel that made the show sooooo enjoyable. Stopping the action wouldn't have done it for me. The set moved only once, I think, during One Jump. This SOUNDS like less than what you describe, but I can't be sure. I don't remember it moving at all really in CA.

FWIW, Disney swore up and down that they were basically going back to the drawing board after Seattle for Toronto/Bway. I don't know how true that is/isn't -- so you need to get yourself to Bway so you can tell us all, lol!!!
