Seattle is not based upon the Disneyland Hyperion Theatre (California Adventure Park) version of Aladdin. According to Disney, after Seattle they made MAJOR change to the show for Toronto/Bway. I did not see Seattle, although the other post on here I responded to about Seattle does make it sound like there were lots of changes since then. But I did see the CA version and Bway. I guarantee you, they are VERY VERY different. They did NOT take the CA version and puff it up with some extra material etc. to make it longer. Obviously they do share a lot of stuff from the cartoon in common, but the Broadway book is an independent creature from the CA book. (Disney having a "Broadway-style stage show" in CA sparked tons of rumors about making Aladdin a REAL Broadway stage show - any news articles attributing the CA show as a Broadway show come from that linkage.)
