i saw a show with a person that did lighting. When we left the show, that was what he noticed and discussed--how this set was lit well or this actor missed the lighting cue or this scene was incorrectly lit. My observations where general impressions of the whole production from acting, to score to set to plot, etc. I really learned that being outside of the business has a different perspective of shows than someone inside the business.
