I agree. I think Murphy is a terrible director. This piece needs someone like a Spike Lee. I'm only hoping that Murphy digs deep and makes it personal the way Lee makes his films personal. The problem is that even if Murphy brings the passion, he has, thus far, shown absolutely no signs of directorial talent and is certainly not in Lee's league. I hope Murphy proves me wrong because this is a piece that deserves to be seen - and for that, I am grateful for his dedication to getting it made.)
