I can't help you about finding time, but often time you can find a local theatre discount tix at Goldstar. Yes they now have Sacramento page! Usually I can find a tix for $18 or less. Even B st theatre which doesn't use Goldstar offers $10 tix special if you subscribe their email blast, STC has a general rush 30 min before the curtain. I rarely pay a full price when I see a local theatre. Although I see shows via discount, I donate to local theatres during the season of giving too.
