It never hurts to throw ideas out there (or to dream). Perhaps the level of production expected needs to be trimmed back, so that it could be done with less rehearsal-kind of like a typical reading, and not open to the press etc. The real issue is that these things have to be cast well, and like everything else that's not free. I actually think NYTW is too small to make this economically viable-but I agree CC is just too big for this. Ideal would be for you to have a few extra hundred thousand lying around so you could finance your own dream. :-)
