One of the few times when there was NO Standing Ovation. Polite applause. A very simplistic spin on a subverted "Doll's House" premise. It was written in the style and manner of an afternoon soap opera. Too bad.

what an odd contradiction. your criteria for evaluating productions and performances have all the current relevancy of the actor's studio in the 1950s but your criteria for evaluating audience response is equivalent to tourist reactions to megamusicals? it's possible for an audience to adequately express their delight without standing up en mass on cue. you weren't at KINKY BOOTS. i don't think i've seen a straight play receive a standing ovation at city center since blanchett and the sydney company brought their brilliant UNCLE VANYA. you're more fun when your posts come off sounding like constance collier in STAGE DOOR.
