Chicago has done a ton of stunt casting as we all know, but this seems particularly bad to me. The guy is not only a non-actor, he was never more than a minor (very minor) celebrity, and that was twenty years ago.

It's hard for me to imagine the point of bringing someone in for only one week of performances. Are they really expecting a big enough boost in one week's attendance to justify the time, effort, and expense that it took to teach him the role?

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

At that point I suppose the Broadway audience is less particular than on the road, at least for this show.
