- The intention is what EvFoDr posted just below. While it is an exaggeration, of course, to point out Sylvester Stallone changed almost nothing, it is a bit of hyperbole that's very close to the truth. I viewed the DVD of the movie just five days before I saw the musical. -

Yup, got it, lol. Though had you said "I attribute this to Stallone's sense of a decline in the audience’s attention span over 38 years" it might have registered faster. But no prob. ;-)
