Ticket Re-selling advice

Hello,

My daughter and I have planned a NYC theatre trip for the end of April. We have our air paid, (great deal but not refundable). We haven't paid anything for accommodation but we have got tix to 6 great shows - Cabaret, Kinky Boots, Pippin, Hedwig, If/Then and Lady Day.

Unfortunately I ended up with a very unexpected and huge vet bill this week and I'm wondering if it's wise to go on this trip with this massive new debt.

Does anyone know what the odds would be of my re-selling these tickets successfully? I've looked at Stubhub and they have a huge amount available but crazy prices - I really only want to get my money back.

I'm trying to make a decision based on the odds of being able to re-sell. If I can't - I may as well just go on the trip, live with the debt I incur and enjoy the shows. My desire to go is great - but I have a nasty feeling in my gut that tells me that it isn't financially wise to go with all the other stuff I have to deal with. Also, the Cabaret tickets I need to pick up at the box office with my credit card - not sure how I'd be able to see those anyway.

Sigh. Help?
