Jim Nabors as HAROLD HILL

Posted by: Teacher64 12:38 pm EDT 03/15/14

Just wondering if anyone remembers seeing him in THE MUSIC MAN at Burt Reynold's theater in Jupiter, FL. His Marian was none other than Florence Henderson. I imagine this was some time back in the 70s. Anyone see this production? He has a very rich baritone voice which doesn't come across to me as very Harold Hilly. Plus he always plays the nice guy, and HIll has to be a bit of a scoundrel, something even Dick Van Dyke and Matthew Broderick had a hard time doing.
