YES!! Back in December 1987, my friend and I decided to go on a road trip. Our Broadway shows had just closed. So we thought it would be fun to go to Disney World! First time for both of us. It was a great two days in Orlando. Side bar: we made a bet that the first to see someone they knew won $20. At the gift shop on the way out of the park, my friend bumped into someone he had worked with... down $20! Driving from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale to visit friends, we passed a billboard for the Burt Reynold's Dinner Theatre... MAME! Score!! We peeled off I95 and headed to Burt's for the 8 pm show. Barbara Cook as Mame, Betsy Palmer as Vera Charles and Lorna Luft as Gooch. Heaven. All that and a prime rib dinner! After 35 years of friendship, it's still one of our favorite memories.
