City of Angels - Revival/Film?

I seem to recall discussion in the past year or two about a movie of City of Angels and/or talk of a revival. I just started listening to the OBCR last week and I can't get it out of my head. (During my commute, I keep finding myself switching back to that disc - I love it.) I must say that for a revival, I don't see how it could be downsized given today's penchant for chamber-music size productions. I'd think it'd need a big enough orchestra to handle all the brass and strings and a big production onstage. (I saw the tour in SF 20-odd years ago, but my memory besides recalling a split B&W/color set, is hazy) I'd be more upset that the songs are stuck in my skull - except I'm still lovin' the songs.
