I know people (me included) are excited about the CD release of One Touch Of Venus. But the real surprise for me on this list is the release of the vocal score for Light In The Piazza. In an era where show scores are not being routinely published anymore, this is a great thing. (True, Guettel has been good about getting his scores published, though this one was certainly a long time coming.) Though I doubt we're going to see a sudden resurgence of loads of new published scores, I'm hoping we do see a few from time to time. Please, anyone who can, go buy this, so we can at least make an attempt to encourage more commercially available scores . ;-)
