"GYPSY was last seen on Broadway with Patti LuPone playing Rose...In previous productions, Rose has been played by such leading ladies as Bernadette Peters, Ethel Merman, Tyne Daly, Bette Middler, and Angela Lansbury." Hmmm. I don't think The Merm would be very happy about being lost in the middle like that... Also, they spelled Midler's name wrong.
